ABOUT
HOSTEL LEASH is located in the center of Kawaminami, a seaside town in central Miyazaki Prefecture. Leash was created by two new residents of the town, Fumiya and Akiyo, in 2024. They renovated an abandoned property into a new meeting place for locals, travelers and new residents to connect.
The hostel is a place for everyone. Whether you come to Kawaminami for surfing, a relaxing countryside vacation, a tropical escape, or are even considering moving to the town, Leash is the place to relax and meet others.
Kawaminami, also known as the “United States of Kawaminami,” is a pioneer town built by individuals from all across Japan who came seeking their own lifestyle. Still today, it is a place filled with warm hearts, that welcome all into the community.
